Fair AI in the Age of Autonomous Agents: Building Systems We Can Trust
14:25 - 14:55, 24 listopada 2025 / AI
As AI moves from theory into practice, GenAI and autonomous agents are no longer just tools, they are becoming active participants in our workplaces and daily lives. These systems create enormous opportunities for efficiency, personalization, and innovation, but also raise urgent questions about fairness, transparency, and trust. When algorithms influence who gets a job interview, what content is prioritized, or how decisions are made at scale, bias is not just a technical issue, it becomes a human one.
In this talk, I will explore how bias manifests in modern AI systems, why fairness is essential for adoption and compliance, and what practical strategies organizations can use to mitigate risks. By reframing fairness not as a constraint but as a driver of trust and innovation, we can ensure AI becomes a trusted teammate, shaping the future of work in ways that are inclusive, ethical, and impactful.
I will also touch on how frameworks like the EU AI Act are shaping accountability, and whether they are enough. For me, fairness is not an add-on; it is the foundation for building AI we can trust — as individuals, as engineers, and as a society.
