Modern Network Observability: Our Journey from Administration to DevOps Culture

This session is a story – a light, honest, and sometimes humorous tale about a team of network engineers and administrators journey from managing a commercial monitoring tool to embracing a DevOps mindset. Much like in certain epic tales, we too carried a powerful tool that promised control and visibility – but also came with a burden and hidden weight.
We’ll walk through the challenges we faced: rigid architecture, manual processes, and limited flexibility. You’ll hear how we gradually built a new observability ecosystem using open-source technologies, existing internal platforms and commercial booster in the form of synthetic monitoring.
