Prosperity through Innovation Ecosystems

Through the work of the Innovation Policy Ignition Programme (based in Cambridge University), Dr Coleridge is supporting regional policy makers to unleash the power of innovation ecosystems. Competition, these days, is not firm<->firm or region <-> region, it is ecosystem <-> ecosystem. To remain relevant and take our economic contributions to the next level, we need to figure out how to build ecosystems that bring together corporate, university, entrepreneur, government, and capital. If we do this in the right way, it supports both breakthrough and incremental innovations, makes a region an innovation-maker not an innovation-taker, and provides the basis for future prosperity. Dr Coleridge will explain the methods we are using to set regions, including Silesia, up for future prosperity.
